Christmas Club

Santa uses a Christmas Club account, do you? How else can he be ready to bring all those gifts to good boys and girls across the world! He certainly doesn’t bring them fruitcake – a sure sign that you don’t have a Christmas Club account. Come into First State Bank & Trust today and open up your very own Christmas Club account, and avoid fruitcake embarrassment (of course unless someone really wants it).

Another good reason to sign up for our Christmas Club account is that you’ll make money on it. You’ll get a little more back to spend than what you put in, that’s a jolly good thing!

No Minimum Deposit Required

Interest

Interest will compound monthly and will be added to your account on a monthly basis.

Payout

On the last Tuesday of October a check for the balance of the account, plus any accrued interest, will be issued and mailed to the owner.

Fees & Limitations

You may only make one, "preauthorized, automatic, or telephonic", transfer or withdrawal from your Christmas Club per calendar month. A $1 charge will be imposed for each transfer or withdrawal in excess of one per calendar month.

A $1 charge will be imposed if the ledger balance is less than $1 on the last business day of the calendar month or at the time we issue checks in October.

Monthly Bank Statements

A formal bank statement reflecting your account activity will be mailed to you each month. Or you can request to have your statement emailed to you.

Internet Banking

NetTeller, our internet banking product, is included with Classic Checking at no charge. Access your account online to:

1. View all of your account balances and transactions.
2. Transfer money between your accounts.
3. Make loan payments.
4. View and print monthly statements.
5. Enter stop payment request.
6. Request a formal statement.
7. Reorder checks.
8. Download account information to your personal computer for use in software programs (e.g. Quicken).
