Classic Checking
A wealth management account paying a competitive rate of interest for customers with a deposit relationship of $50,000 or more enhanced with unlimited check writing, internet banking, bill pay, free checks plus other valued benefits.
Interest Bearing Account
This account has five tiers available. Interest is compounded monthly and will be credited into this account monthly. Interest is calculated by the daily balance method which applies a daily periodic rate to the balance in the account each day. For rate information please contact your local Customer Service Representative.
Just $100 required to open
The minimum balance required to open this account is only $100.
Fees and Charges
This account has a $25 per month maintenance fee. This fee will be waived if the combined balance in all DDA, Savings and CDs is at least $50,000.
Unlimited Deposits
You may make an unlimited number of deposits into this account.

When you open a Classic Checking Account with us, your "Classic" Checks are free.
Free Notary Service
Use our notary service at no charge. We'll be happy to notarize your official documents.
50% Discount - Safe Deposit Boxes
Whether you presently have a safe deposit box or would like to open a safe deposit box, you will receive a 50% discount on the rental with your Classic Checking account (one discount per account).
Monthly Bank Statements with an Image of Canceled Checks
A formal bank statement reflecting your account activity will be mailed to you each month. An image of your canceled checks will be included.
Free Automatic Funds Transfer
We can transfer funds from your account to make monthly loan payments or just transfer funds to another account of your choice. Transfers can be made daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually. There are no initial set up charges or transaction fees.
Direct Deposit
Have your paycheck, Social Security, and Supplemental Security Income payments sent directly to your account with Direct Deposit. Many employers are now using Direct Deposit to pay their employees. There are no initial set up fees or transaction fees for Direct Deposit.
Drive-in/Night Deposit Service
We have five convenient night depository locations for your after hours deposits or loan payments. All First State Bank & Trust Company, Inc. locations have a night depository located in the first drive-in lane. Security lights and surveillance cameras are installed for your protection.
ATMs Available 24 Hours
We have 7 convenient locations to serve you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no transaction fees when you use our convenient ATMs.

ATM Card
Use your ATM card to access cash in your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at many locations in the U.S. Just look for the Pulse or Plus logos. Use your ATM card to purchase gas and make purchases at any merchant that accepts Interlink transactions. Just look for the Interlink logo. ATM cards are subject to credit approval.
Visa® Debit Card
The Visa® Debit Card gives you a faster, more economical, more convenient way to buy the products and services you need. That's because it allows you to withdraw funds from your checking account without ever having to write a check. You can purchase groceries, gas, anything else where VISA® is accepted. Plus, the Visa® Debit Card performs all the functions of an ATM card. Visa® Debit Cards are subject to credit approval.
Internet Banking
NetTeller, our internet banking product, is included with Classic Checking at no charge. Access your account online to:
- View all of your account balances and transactions.
- Transfer money between your accounts.
- Make loan payments.
- View and print monthly statements.
- Enter stop payment request.
- Request a formal statement.
- Reorder checks.
- Download account information to your personal computer for use in software programs (e.g. Quicken).
Online Bill Payment
Online Bill Payment is free with Classic Checking. Pay bills or make payments, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Loan payments, insurance premiums, utilities, credit cards and many other bills can be easily paid using bill pay. Paying bills electronically can reduce your monthly cost associated with purchasing checks and postage. Payments can be scheduled as a one time payment or recurring based on your needs. Recurring payments can be for a fixed or variable amount. With Bill Pay, you can create your own list of payees, view a list of bills scheduled to be paid, view a history of payments, and much more.
