Money Market Demand Account
$2,500 deposit is required to open a MMDA account.
Interest:
Interest rates are tiered and will be compounded monthly and credited to your account on a monthly basis.
Monthly Fee:
A minimum fee of $8 will be imposed every month if the balance in the account falls below $2,500 any day of the month. The maintenance fee will not be imposed if you maintain an average daily balance during the statement cycle of $2,500 or greater.
Transfer Fees:
A $10 charge per check/transfer in excess of 6 per month applies to this account regardless of the account balance.
Account Transfers
Transfers from this account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic, or telephone transfer are limited to six per statement cycle with no more than 3 transfers by check, draft, debit card, or similar order to third parties. No transaction fee will be assessed on internal transfers.
Online Bill Payment
Online Bill Payment is only $4.95 per month with a Money Market Demand Account. Pay bills or make payments, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Loan payments, insurance premiums, utilities, credit cards and many other bills can be easily paid using bill pay. Paying bills electronically can reduce your monthly cost associated with purchasing checks and postage. Payments can be scheduled as a one time payment or recurring based on your needs. Recurring payments can be for a fixed or variable amount. With Bill Pay, you can create your own list of payees, view a list of bills scheduled to be paid, view a history of payments, and much more.
Internet Banking
NetTeller, our internet banking product, is included with your Money Market Demand Account at no charge. Access your account online to:
- View all of your account balances and transactions.
- Transfer money between your accounts.
- Make loan payments.
- View and print monthly statements.
- Enter stop payment request.
- Request a formal statement.
- Reorder checks.
- Download account information to your personal computer for use in software programs (e.g. Quicken).
Monthly Bank Statements
A formal bank statement reflecting your account activity will be mailed to you each month. An image of your canceled checks will be included. You can also receive your monthly bank statement via email. Just let us know which way you prefer to receive your bank statement each month.
Visa® Debit Card
The Visa® Debit Card gives you a faster, more economical, more convenient way to buy the products and services you need. That's because it allows you to withdraw funds from your checking account without ever having to write a check. You can purchase groceries, gas, anything else where Visa® is accepted. Plus, the Visa® Debit Card performs all the functions of an ATM card. Visa® Debit Cards are subject to credit approval.
