Why an HSA Account?
HSAs are accounts where employers and employees make contributions and earn interest tax free. If the money withdrawn from these accounts are for qualified medical expenses, then that money is also tax-free.

Just $50 Required to Open
The minimum balance required to open this account is $50.
A $25.00 annual Maintenance fee will be assessed at account opening and for each tax year thereafter.
Select checks are free with this account.
Monthly Bank Statements with an image of canceled checks
A formal bank statement reflecting your account activity will be mailed to you each month. An image of your canceled checks will be included.
Direct Deposit*
Have any recurring deposits sent directly to your bank account with Direct Deposit. Many employers are now using Direct Deposit to pay their employees. There are no initial setup fees or transaction fees from direct deposit. Deposits are limited to the annual standard contribution limit plus eligible “catch-up” contributions.
Drive-in/Night Deposit Service
We have five convenient night depository locations for your after-hours deposits or loan payments. All First State Bank and Trust Company, Inc. locations have a night depository located in the first drive-in lane.
ATMS – Available 24 hours
We have 8 convenient locations to serve you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with no surcharges or foreign ATM charges.

VISA® Debit Card
VISA® debit cards give you a faster, more economical way to buy the products and services you need. That’s because it allows you to withdraw funds from your checking account without ever having to write a check. Plus, VISA® debit cards allow you to withdrawal funds from an ATM. VISA® debit cards are subject to credit approval.
Internet Banking

NetTeller, our internet banking product, is included with our HSA account at no charge. Access your account to:

  • View all of your account balances and transactions.
  • Transfer money between your accounts.
  • View and print monthly statements.
  • Enter stop payment request.
  • Request a formal statement.
  • Reorder checks.
  • Download account information to your personal computer for use in software programs (e.g. Quicken).
Online Bill Payment
Online bill payment (iPay) is free with our HSA account. Pay bills or make payments, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Qualified medical payments can be easily paid with iPay. Paying bills electronically can reduce your monthly cost associated with purchasing checks and postage. Payments can be scheduled as a one time payment or recurring based on your needs. Recurring payments can be for a fixed or variable amount. With iPay, you can create your own list of payees, view a list of bills scheduled to be paid, view a history of payments, and much more.
